I am Mike Chick and modeano is my motion graphics and 3D design moniker.

I work with vector graphics, still imagery, video, kinetic typography, in 2D and 3D, to create engaging and dynamic narratives. 

My first independent commissions were in film and video, with directing credits in TV documentary, commercial and music promo work for clients including Channel 4 Television, EMI, and Koch Media. My short film "Bike Story" was shown at the Cycling Film festival 2013 in New York and London. 

I have also worked extensively with photography for commercial clients, editorial publications and have published four monographs. My work has been exhibited in London and Berlin. A selection of that work can be seen here: www.mikechick.com

After many years living in Berlin, I am now based in Brighton, England.
